Hi, my name is Yu “Chris” Yang. I am a full-time medical professional, specializing in pathology. In my medical career, I diagnose diseases by examining tissue samples under the microscope, providing critical information to clinicians that helps guide patient care.

While my professional life has been dedicated to medicine, I’ve always had a deep appreciation for photography. My journey as a photographer began in 2023, driven by a personal realization: after years of rigorous training and work, I had missed many chances to capture the beautiful moments of life—especially with family. Time passes quickly. Children grow up, parents age, and precious memories can fade if not preserved.

This insight inspired me to pick up a camera and start learning photography. I quickly fell in love with portrait work, especially capturing the warmth of families and the character of seniors. I also enjoy documenting joyful events such as birthday parties, extended family gatherings, and other special occasions that bring people together. I shoot both indoors and outdoors, using a combination of natural light and flash to create vibrant, timeless images.
